The group had a chance to meet with Dr. Cotton to share some of their successes from last year and to plan for the future which included brainstorming ideas for the second annual Teen Summit Conference. #InspireCPS

Congratulations to Kimberly Hammers from Grassfield High School! 🎉 She was named a National Civics Teacher of the Year Finalist by the Bill of Rights Institute. The finalists were chosen after a nationwide search that encouraged educators, students, parents, and community members to submit outstanding civics teachers for consideration.
All finalists earned a $1,000 prize from the Bill of Rights Institute. The National Civics Teacher of the Year announcement will be held during their Constitution Day Live program on September 15, 2023.
