Last night, the Grassfield High School Governor's STEM Academy hosted its annual STEM Showcase which allowed students to display and demonstrate their work over the last semester. Projects included architecture, video game design, engineering, community service initiatives, and more! 🎮🏚🔭 Governor's STEM students from Landstown High School also attended to see the Showcase as part an ongoing collaboration with the Grizzlies. #InspireCPS

Crestwood Intermediate students are out of this world! 🌎 Fifth graders at CWI recently participated in a science project resulting in proposals to have their student-designed science investigation performed on the International Space Station (ISS). 🛰 In a competitive submission process, the team consisting of Jameson, Kayleb, Allison, Leila, and Kelby from Mrs. Drewry’s and Mr. Weaver’s class were selected to have their investigation to learn about the germination of beets in microgravity performed aboard the ISS. Astronauts will conduct their experiment as a REAL scientific investigation, not a simulation or school project. 👨‍🚀 The program is administered by the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program (SSEP).
