Miss Stafford's first graders had a BLAST practicing and presenting their reader's theater on the Three Little Pigs! Mr. Boe, GFHS student intern, stepped in to fill the part of absent students. They are all looking forward to another reader's theater performance in the future!

Boosterthon is coming. Our annual GFE Boosterthon launches on Monday, March 5th. The first activity is happening on Tuesday, February 6th with the opportunity for students to wear a FUN hat to school that day. Students can only wear the FUN HAT if they are registered. Mrs. Rosenberg's class is studying fossils. They did an experiment where they were all Paleontologists on a cookie dig. They did a great jog extracting chips!

Our Chesapeake Virtual Academy (CVA) is proud to offer fully online courses to students enrolled in Chesapeake Public Schools. Serving students in grades K-12, CVA offers a wide range of core and elective classes, including Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment courses, and provides special education services for students with disabilities, gifted enrichment opportunities, and services for English language learners.
