BRI's Garden Club Lunch Bunch harvested their first crops- radishes! The kids selected one radish plant to allow to go to seed & harvested the rest. After washing, the kids were able to sample their radish while learning about seeds. They also fed their pet worm, Gerald. :)

On Saturday, Indian River High School hosted Operation Military Families! Operation Military Families allowed for our district's military families to participate in information sessions and fun activities for students.
Throughout the evening, families were able to get complimentary family portraits taken by Lifetouch, enjoy performances by the U.S. Fleet Forces Band Woodwind Quartet, eat a pizza dinner and learn about resources offered to military families in our area.
Special thanks to Captain Matt Frauenzimmer for taking the time to speak to our families and the Office of Family and Community Engagement for continuing their commitment to serving our community.
