The With You All the Way Tour (WYATW!) stopped by several schools recently including Grassfield Elementary for their exciting, educational presentation led by the Comfort Crew for Military Kids Co-Founder and best-selling children's author and illustrator, Trevor Romain. 📚🐊
Since 2010, the WYATW! Tour has visited over 350,000 military kids in over 16 countries sharing a vital yet upbeat message, and emphasizing the importance of caring for one another. The tour provides valuable strategies for all students to help them deal with challenging situations.







Earlier this week, Indian River High School hosted a Student Teacher Meet and Greet event. Dr. Cotton, several principals, and representatives from Human Resources all shared their personal experiences working within our district with aspiring new teachers.
They also received advice from several current teachers including Andre Jacobs from G. W. Carver Intermediate School, Serena Vaughn, from Camelot Elementary, and Aubreya Robinson from Sparrow Road Intermediate.

The Federal Impact Aid Program provides funding directly to school divisions to compensate for lost real estate revenues due to an increased amount of federal property in their districts.
