Thank you to Dr. Jeremy Raley, Chief of Staff for the Virginia Department of Education for visiting several of our schools last week. He stopped by to see our Pharmacy Tech and Welding programs in action at the Chesapeake Career Center, congratulated Chittum Elementary School on their National Blue Ribbon recognition, and saw the Modern Classroom Project in action at Western Branch Middle School.










Mrs Ortell and Mrs Miceli’s class has some special friends! Moose, Benny, and Tiberious enjoyed some Social Emotional Learning in Bruin Bell! We love seeing Bruins (and Gerbils) working together and learning about the world around them!

On Friday Night, Our Bruins SHOWED UP for movie night! We had over 300 bruins join us for Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse! What a great event for all our bruins!


Today our 8th Graders were given the opportunity to hear from Johnny's Ambassadors at Deep Creek High School! Our Bruins ROARed the Bruin Way and represented The BEST of Bruin Country! Way to be Bruins!

Today, many of our 8th grade students had the opportunity to hear the Johnny's Ambassadors Program. The goal is to educate students on the dangers of high-THC marijuana on adolescent brain development. Additional schools will attend tomorrow.
