Good afternoon, Southeastern Elementary families.
Here are six important announcements and reminders for the week.
First, please refer to the April Parent Calendar for the events and activities planned for this month. There are several spirit day opportunities for students to take advantage of throughout the month, including Purple Up for Military children on Wednesday.
Next, we're looking forward to the 4th-grade music program on Tuesday at 6:30 PM. The students have worked hard all year learning the recorder, and we invite you to join us as they share their performance. Doors open at 6:00 PM
Third, our 4th grade students will take a field trip to the Jamestown Settlement on Thursday, April 9th. To ensure the buses depart promptly at 7:00 AM, students should arrive between 6:30 and 6:45 AM. Please drop off fourth-grade students in the designated parent drop-off area. Regular parent drop-off for other grades should begin at 7:00 AM to avoid congestion; please do not get in line for parent drop-off before 7:00 AM. Remember, students must wear their ID badges, even on field trips. If a student has lost their badge, a $5 replacement fee is required by Wednesday.
Fourth, the grading period ended on April 3rd. Report cards will be available for families in Parent Vue on Friday, April 11th. Please contact your child’s teacher with any questions or concerns regarding your child’s progress.
Fifth, our yearbook is almost finished and ready to be published. You can preorder yours today using this link. The Southeastern Yearbook ID is 4429925. Softcover books cost $16 and hardcover books cost $21. Get yours today to capture all the memories of this school year. The last day to order your 2024-25 yearbook will be April 28th.
And finally, Spring Break is April 14-18. The office will be open on April 14th only. We hope everyone has a wonderful and restful break.
