We had an amazing day at our 4th Annual Teen Summit this past Saturday at Indian River High School! 🙌 We were honored to hear from former James Madison University All-Conference Running Back Dr. Eugene Holloman, who inspired students with a powerful message about perseverance and purpose. From mental health and money management to athletics, college prep, and stress management, our teens gained tools for success now and in the future. Thank you to our Department of Family & Community Engagement for organizing the event, and to our presenters, volunteers, and community members who made it such a success!

During the month of February, Indian River High School is proud to celebrate Black History Month!

We are diving deep into a century of progress as we embrace our school theme: "Building a hundred moments: taking a look at the change makers of the last century." From the iconic leaders in our flyer’s collage to the unsung heroes of our community, we are reflecting on the milestones and individuals who have shaped our world.

As we join the national conversation, "A Century of Black History Commemorations," our Braves are committed to honoring this legacy through art, leadership, and education. Join us as we celebrate 100 years of excellence, resilience, and change!
