In STEAM today with Mrs. Kline, the students built a lego car powered by a balloon. Friday is STEAM day!
The students from Ms. Woodley's and Mrs. Bowman's class had a great time in Art today dancing the tinikling for Filipino American History Month.
Another great Art lesson from Ms. Barros, in honor of Filipino American History Month, she introduced them to Pacita Abad's work, the students will recreate Baguio Fruits and draw pictures of their favorite fruit or the native fruits of the Philippines.
Students will come home today with their Impact Aid Survey card. The Federal Impact Aid Program provides funding directly to school divisions to compensate for lost real estate revenues due to an increased amount of federal property in their districts. Impact Aid funds support all of our students and programs across the district. We ask all families to sign and return their completed cards tomorrow. Federal Impact Aid generates close to $3 million for our schools each year! Help make an impact by returning your completed card.
