In 1962, President John F. Kennedy created National School Lunch Week (NSLW) to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child’s life and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom. 🍴
This week, we offer special thanks to our School Nutrition staff who work hard daily to ensure our students are fueled for school! Level Up With School Lunch! 🎮⬆

🏫 Earlier this week, community and school leaders attended the first Superintendent's Community Engagement Council meeting of the school year. It was an opportunity to collaborate and share ideas, especially focusing on our commitment to school safety and security initiatives across the district. 🛡
We're thrilled to see such dedication and enthusiasm from our community members. Your input is invaluable in helping us maintain a positive, safe and secure learning environment for our students. 📚🔒 We also would like to extend a special thank you to Damuth Trane for sponsoring the event! #InspireCPS #EmpowerCPS
