On Saturday, Indian River High School hosted Operation Military Families! Operation Military Families allowed for our district's military families to participate in information sessions and fun activities for students.
Throughout the evening, families were able to get complimentary family portraits taken by Lifetouch, enjoy performances by the U.S. Fleet Forces Band Woodwind Quartet, eat a pizza dinner and learn about resources offered to military families in our area.
Special thanks to Captain Matt Frauenzimmer for taking the time to speak to our families and the Office of Family and Community Engagement for continuing their commitment to serving our community.

Mr. Mason, Mrs. Deighan (PTA President), Ms. Labaire (LTOY), Mrs. Hobbs (PTA VP), Mrs. Greathouse (General TA), Mrs. Brinn (TOY), and Mr. Breland (Crystal Apple Recipient) enjoyed representing GBP at the State of the Schools breakfast yesterday morning!

Parents and families,
We wanted to give a quick update regarding student ID badges.
Unfortunately, our supply of extra badges is running very low. With that said, as long as our current supply allows, we will only be replacing ID badges that are damaged and will not scan in the building. We will not be replacing badges that are usable but RFID is not working on the bus. In addition, we are out of extra lanyards. You are welcome to replace your child's lanyard with a break-away one from home if needed.
Thank you for your understanding!

Don't forget, GBP is hosting a special Kindergarten information parent meeting on Thursday, April 25, 2024 from 3:30-4:30 PM. Please visit our school website for more information!
