Flexible Instruction Information for Parents
Thank you for your interest in Flexible Instruction at DCHS. We're excited to provide this opportunity to support student learning and mitigate learning loss.
Session Duration - Three hours will count as one instructional school day. Students can attend as many sessions as desired.
Eligibility - Students with four or more absences are eligible to attend Flexible Instruction sessions.
Attendance Waiver - Students seeking an attendance waiver must complete at least three hours. This can be done Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday or during one Saturday session.
Registration - Students can register for sessions by scanning the QR code provided in the email sent from Synergy or by signing up with their individual teachers.
Flexible Instruction Student Expectations:
Students must be engaged in making up work the entire session.
No electronic devices.
Students should have their own charged Chromebooks.
Students will not be allowed to roam the hallways.
Students must work on school work or SOL review - all subjects have created a SOL review Canvas Page.
All students must enter through the front door by 7:30 a.m.
