The Chesapeake Virtual Academy (CVA) is now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year. CVA offers full and part-time online learning for K-12 students in Chesapeake. Students remain connected to their zoned school and can participate in all school-sponsored activities, sports, and clubs. The deadline to apply is March 10, 2025.

All teachers are licensed Chesapeake Public Schools employees and follow the same curriculum as our traditional schools.
Students also have the opportunity to participate in field trips and quarterly in-person family fun nights at the elementary and middle school levels.
Please note! The CVA application for high school students who would like to request an online course for the spring 2025 semester is also open now through February 5, 2025.
