Grow Our Own WBL Summer Internships

A new Work-Based Learning (WBL) Program for rising juniors and seniors within the district is designed to “Grow our Own.” The Department of College and Career Readiness is excited to develop this new program to provide students opportunities to develop skills through internships. Students will complete an internship and attend a WBL Seminar class and receive high school course credit. Thanks to the support of the Chesapeake Public Schools Educational Foundation (CPSEF), students will earn $11 per hour and complete a minimum of 40 internship hours.
