New 7th Grade Vaccination Requirement
All rising 7th grade students are required to have the following vaccines prior to entering 7th grade.
As of July 1, 2021, the NEW requirement is:
one dose of Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis)
one dose of meningococcal conjugate vaccine
Human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine is also recommended for adolescents.
STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ADMITTED TO 7th GRADE WITHOUT DOCUMENTATION OF THESE IMMUNIZATIONS. (THERE IS NO GRACE PERIOD).
You may get the vaccines from your child’s health care provider, the Health Department, pharmacy or urgent care center. Call before going to ensure the vaccines are available and your insurance is accepted.
