Sign up for after school Study Hall. Study hall will resume for the second semester on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 and Wednesday, February 9, 2022 from 3:10 – 4:00pm. Students will be released at the end of the day to the cafeteria, then receive a pass to the study hall classroom. Students must be picked up by 4:00pm, no later. Parents must indicate if their student is a parent pick-up or walker on the sign up form on the WBMS website. There are NO after school buses for transportation. If a student is not picked up on time after two events, the student will not be able to return to study hall sessions.
Handle with Care
If your family is experiencing difficulties at home, we would like to provide additional support at school. We understand that you are not always able to share details and that’s okay. If your child is coming to school after a difficult night, morning, or weekend, please email “Handle with Care,” to your assistant principal and/or guidance counselor. Nothing else will be said or asked. This will let us know that your child may need extra time, patience, or help during the day.

When I think about what brings a smile to my face, the first things that come to mind are all the organizations we have at Western Branch Middle School. … What separates Western Branch Middle from the pack is all the clubs that our teachers volunteer to sponsor so that our students can feel connected to Western Branch Middle School. With more than 45 clubs here, it’s not uncommon during the week to find 10, 12, 15 organizations here after school. It’s a very active school, and that’s what we love about Western Branch Middle; it always brings a smile to my face to see kids heavily involved with our activities.

Remember to be kind and always remember that you are loved.
(Avery Eure, Student)
I love the principals. I love the teachers. I love the staff. They are very supportive. They’re helpful. I love the fact that they reach out to you. They make sure that you know what’s going on concerning your children. Even more so, I love the fact that my son feels safe and he loves being here.
This is a tremendous school.
“ As a former student and now a teacher at WBMS, I continue to be amazed at the resilience and creativity of our WBMS family of students, parents, staff, and administrators. Although we could not physically be together for the last few months, we were able to stay connected and showcase our Bruin spirit through videos, virtual events, spirit weeks, and social media. I will always be proud to be a Bruin!.
(Amy Daniel, 8th Gr. History Teacher)
