Parents are now able to purchase VOLUNTARY Student Accident insurance for your child for the 2021-2022 school year. This insurance covers your child while attending school or any school sponsored event in case of an injury. This voluntary insurance is not just for athletes and participation in sports. The most convenient way to purchase a policy is through the K&K Insurance website.
At the beginning of every school year, all families must complete the student online verification process. Families must log onto their ParentVUE account to verify their student’s information. The verification process allows our families to confirm or update information for all children in a household at one time. For more information, please visit the CPS Student Online Verification Process webpage.
Families will also have the opportunity to review and update their contact information to ensure continued access to important information and communications from their student’s school and the district.
The deadline for the student verification process is Thursday, September 30, 2021. To complete the process, please log onto your ParentVUE account. The verification process can be completed in ParentVue on web browser or in the ParentVUE mobile app. Once logged in, select ONLINE REGISTRATION & VERIFICATION and follow the prompts to verify your student’s information.

Password = First letter of first name + First letter of last name + last 4 digits of Student ID (Example: gb1234)
All student passwords were reset for the 2021-2022 school year. We are asking ALL students to go to our One Login Portal and change your password for the new school year. To reset your password, please go to www.cpschools.onelogin.com and enter your student ID # as the username and a temporary password (see below). This will force all students to reset their password. The temporary password is the first initial of your FIRST and LAST name followed by the last FOUR numbers of your student ID #.

If any families are concerned that their students are missing assignments, they can set their notifications so that they are alerted when assignments are missing. You can provide them these steps.
- Log onto your Schoology Parent Account.
- Click on “Account Settings.”
- Select “Notifications.”
- Select “YES”next to “Course Materials Overdue” for email or phone.
- Click “Save Changes.”
