Voluntary Student Insurance

Why You Need Accident Insurance | GuardianParents are now able to purchase VOLUNTARY Student Accident insurance for your child for the 2021-2022 school year.  This insurance covers your child while attending school or any school sponsored event in case of an injury.  This voluntary insurance is not just for athletes and participation in sports.  The most convenient way to purchase a policy is through the K&K Insurance website.

Student Online Verification

Schoology_logoAt the beginning of every school year, all families must complete the student online verification process. Families must log onto their ParentVUE account to verify their student’s information. The verification process allows our families to confirm or update information for all children in a household at one time.  For more information, please visit the CPS Student Online Verification Process webpage.

Families will also have the opportunity to review and update their contact information to ensure continued access to important information and communications from their student’s school and the district.

The deadline for the student verification process is Thursday, September 30, 2021. To complete the process, please log onto your ParentVUE account. The verification process can be completed in ParentVue on web browser or in the ParentVUE mobile app. Once logged in, select ONLINE REGISTRATION & VERIFICATION and follow the prompts to verify your student’s information.

Student Schedules

Student Schedules for the 2021-2022 School year will be viewable on ParentVUE and StudentVUE starting at 4:00 pm on August 27th.  As a reminder, student passwords were reset over the summer.  Student’s usernames are still their student ID number.  Students keep the same Student ID number they had last school year- including rising 9th graders who were in Middle School last year.
Any newly enrolled student who does not know their Student ID number should contact the Guidance Office at 638-7908.
Students should use the following to log in:
  • Username = Student ID #

  • Password = First letter of first name + First letter of last name + last 4 digits of Student ID (Example: gb1234)

Students can also view common One Login Help FAQS
To request a schedule change, please use this Schedule Change Form.  This form can be printed, filled out, and dropped off in the WBHS Main Office or it can be completed electronically and emailed to the student’s assigned counselor (based on students’ last names).
Schedule changes will ONLY be made under the following circumstances and can ONLY be made during the first 5 days of each semester.
1. You have an incomplete schedule.
2. You failed a course that must be repeated.
3. You failed a course and you are retaking the course with the same teacher.
4. You previously passed a course and are scheduled in the course again.
5. You are a Senior who needs a course (not scheduled) to graduate.

Student Passwords

Quick fix for Google Chrome Broken Image Icon error

All student passwords were reset for the 2021-2022 school year.  We are asking ALL students to go to our One Login Portal and change your password for the new school year.  To reset your password, please go to www.cpschools.onelogin.com and enter your student ID # as the username and a temporary password (see below).  This will force all students to reset their password. The temporary password is the first initial of your FIRST and LAST name followed by the last FOUR numbers of your student ID #.

For Example: sp1234

Click here for detailed instructions on resetting your password.

Senior Yearbook Portraits

The 2021-2022 yearbook staff needs your senior portraits by Friday, October 22nd. Keep this in mind when you select the picture. Give yourselves and the photographer enough time to get the picture you want. If you are using the school’s company, Candid Color, please make sure you go online, using the access code that comes with your proofs, to select the portrait you would like to use in the yearbook.
If you are using an outside vendor for your senior portraits, here are the “MUST” specifications for the photo:
-The yearbook photo should be an upper body shot.
-The photos should be in full color
-The photo should be digital, no hard copies accepted
-The background needs to be grey
-The student needs to be in either a black tux or drape
I recommend that you turn in the photo as soon as you have the one you want, this way it won’t be forgotten. Your photographer should send the photo (as an attachment) to the email below, along with a release to use it in our yearbook.
Thank you for all your help in making this a great yearbook for your student. And remember, photos need to be in by Friday, October 22nd!
