Elementary Summer Programs

Our 2023 elementary summer programs offer learning opportunities for current students in grades K through five. This four-week program is offered at 6 of our elementary school campuses and SECEP. Our elementary summer program primary goals are to support learning gaps and provide enrichment opportunities.

Pre-K Express

Explore Pre-K Express is a summer program for rising kindergarten students. It is designed to provide experiences for children who have no preschool experience. Instruction will be provided in preparation for kindergarten.
To be eligible to participate in the program, students must be fully registered to attend kindergarten in Chesapeake Public Schools for the 2023-2024 school year. Proof of residency, physical, and immunization records will be required. Visit our student enrollment webpage to complete our online student registration.
📄 Explore Pre-K Express registration forms will be available at each elementary school in late April.
