On location in Kenya, Tanzania, and the eastern coast of South Africa to Cape Town. The total solar eclipse occurred on December 4, 2002.

le to view the total solar eclipse in the South Pacific on April 8th, 2005 and the total eclipses that occurred on March 29, 2006; August 1, 2008;and July 22, 2009. Check out the photos of these eclipses on this web site soon.
More Eclipse Info…
The next total solar eclipse I observed occurred on November 13th 2012 in Australia. I successfully viewed that eclipse on board a cruise ship off the cost of New Caledonia.
The eclipse of August 17th was photographed in Columbia South Carolina.
The next Total solar eclipse will occur on December 14th, 2020 in Chili and plans have been made to observe and photograph that eclipse along with a trip to the Antarctic.
