New Unum Voluntary Group Benefits

from Aflac to Unum for 2022. All group Aflac plans ended on December 31, 2021.

Whole Life Insurance
Money for your family to help them with expenses if you die.
Short Term Disability Insurance
Pays a weekly benefit if you have a covered disability that keeps you from working.
Hospital Insurance
Money to help you with the costs of a covered hospital visit.
Accident Insurance
Money for covered accidental injuries and their treatment.
Critical Illness Insurance
Money directly to you when you’re diagnosed with a serious illness.

Insurance Requirements

Chesapeake Public Schools does not carry liability insurance for the protection of the groups or individuals renting or using district facilities. Groups shall procure and maintain for the duration of the contract insurance against claims for injuries to persons or damages to property which may arise from or in connection with the performance of the work hereunder by the Company, its agents, representatives, or employees.
