Help Us Celebrate A Legend!

Multiple photos of Coach Twine
Please help Oscar Smith Middle celebrate Coach Phil Twine’s retirement. Coach Twine has served the South Norfolk community at Oscar Smith Middle for 43 years. During that time, Coach Twine has served as a teacher, coach, and mentor to thousands of students.  Many of those students have become colleagues of Coach Twine, following in his footsteps in education and beyond. Take a moment to leave Coach Twine your well wishes for his upcoming retirement and share your sentiments of appreciation for his service.

Phase 3 – Extended Learning Plans (June 1-11)

Phase 3 April 20-June11Dear OSM Tiger Families,

Phase Three consists of extended learning opportunities for our students so that we can keep our students engaged in learning during this extended closure. Teachers will connect with students to provide activities through Google Classroom or through learning packets that will be available at each school. Contact your child’s teacher or principal if you have any trouble accessing these activities.

Learning packets are organized in bins labelled by grade at the front Main Office entrance at Oscar Smith Middle School. Additionally, families can pick up packets from the following schools at OSM: G.W. Carver Elementary, Portlock Primary, Rena B. Wright Primary, Thurgood Marshall Elementary, and Truitt Intermediate.
