Hello Wildcat Families,

I hope everyone enjoyed the snow last week! I have loved seeing all the pictures of all the snowmen, snowball fights, and pets running through the snow. Our wildcats have come back to school ready to learn, and great things are happening in the classroom. Please make sure all work completed during the two asynchronous school days last week has been turned in to your child’s teacher so your child can be marked as present. The 2nd-grade students will bring home permission slips for their upcoming field trip next week. Parents, please be on the lookout for them.
March is Reading Month. Be sure to check out all the special things happening next month. Click Here
March Madness is here! We will track attendance daily to see which classes have the best attendance for the month of March. Attendance matters, and this is a fun way to excite students about coming to school.
Our PTA is sponsoring Neurodiversity Awareness Week from March 17th through the 21st. Check out the different spirit days.
We have recently seen an increase in student behaviors. Please talk with your child each night about their day and remind them about the three expectations at school: being Safe, Respectful, and Responsible.
Parents who drop off their children should remember to use Cedar Road to join the parent drop-off line. If you turn left off of Cedar Road, do not block traffic. If the line in the left turn lane has reached the straight-away lanes on Cedar Road, please continue straight down Cedar Road and make a U-turn to join it on that side.
April is the Month of the Military Child. We want to showcase your military-connected child around the school building. If you would like to participate, please decorate an 18-24" poster with a collage representing your military-connected child and your family and any aspect of military life that you want us to see! If you made one last year, you may use that one again! Feel free to make it purple-themed if you want or let your creative juices flow! These posters will be displayed around the school for all of April and show respect and honor military connected families at GBP! Please turn the posters in to your teachers by March 28.
