Communication Policy-Please note that you can find the email addresses of all our faculty and staff on the Great Bridge Intermediate website.  Our teachers are expected to respond to their emails within 24 hours during the school week.  If you send an email over the weekend, it will be read on Monday morning, and the 24-hour response time will begin at that point.  If you send multiple emails during the school day, you will receive a reply within 24 hours of your latest email.  Our teachers value communication with parents and guardians, but they spend the overwhelming majority of their school days teaching our students and planning lessons.  In an emergency, please convey the information through the office with a phone call for immediate attention.

Please include: student name, teacher name, date of absence, and reason for the absence.

Report any temporary transportation changes for your student (going home on a different bus, parent pick up, etc…). When a student returns to school from an absence a written response is required. The GBI Transportation and Attendance Form  is perfect for notifying the school and can be accessed by clicking the picture link above.
