All Chesapeake Middle Schools will be conducting their after-school study hall program this year.  Our study hall program will begin on Wednesday, October 21,  2024.

Your child is invited to join us Monday and Wednesday after school until 4:00 p.m.  The overall goal of the program is to give all students a quiet environment to complete assignments or tasks from the classroom.  We are committed to ensuring that each student in our school will have every opportunity for success this year. Your child may receive assistance or extra help on work that is currently being studied. However, this is not a one-on-one or small group tutoring program.

All students in study hall are entitled to a quiet, orderly learning environment.  Students are expected to be engaged in academic study or other graded projects during the study hall period.  All Code Of Conduct expectations still apply (including use of cell phones) during study hall. Therefore, students who disturb the learning environment by socializing will forfeit their opportunity to participate in study hall.

Pick up for study hall is at the BACK of the building.  Please make sure you arrive at Deep Creek Middle School before 4:00 p.m.  Transportation IS being provided for those in need.  However,  a bus will not be available to pick up students until 4:30 pm.

This form approves study hall participation throughout the school year.  Students will have to sign up for individual study hall dates through sign up genius.
