Graduation Information
Date & Time
DCHS Graduation for the Class of 2024 will take place on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. Seniors must arrive by 3:00 p.m.
Location
The ceremony will be held at the Chartway Arena on the campus of Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
Parking
Tickets
June 3, 2024 is the deadline to submit a request for extra graduation tickets.
Students must be logged into their CPS Google account to complete the ticket request form above.
Early graduates requesting additional tickets must reach out to their guidance counselor by June 3, 2024. Please be sure to indicate the number of requested tickets in your request.
Graduation Practices
Graduation Practice will take place on June 10th and June 11th from 9:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Seniors must attend both practices.
Senior Survey
This survey is a graduation requirement that must be completed by May 16th. Only students have access to the link so parents are not able to complete the survey. Again, this is a graduation requirement so please be sure to complete the survey ASAP!

Senior T-Shirts
Senior T-Shirts are still available for purchase in the library - only $10.00!
Prom
Prom tickets are on sale in the library. You must have your permission slip completed when you turn in your ticket money. Permission slips will be available in the library starting Monday, April 29. See Mrs. Keegan in the library if you have any questions.
Senior Celebration Spirit Week - May 13-17
All students and staff are invited to participate!
Monday, May 13 is Mascot Monday - Rep your post high school plans.
Tuesday, May 14 is Anything But A Backpack Day. Bring anything but your backpack! Be creative, but more importantly be safe!
Wednesday, May 15 is Senioritis Spirit Day, so wear your pajamas.
Thursday, May 16 is Senior Citizen Day vs. Throwback Thursday. Dress up like your childhood or future self.
We will end our Spirit week on Friday, May 17 with Farewell Friday. Wear your favorite spirit gear! Purple out!

Senior Events
Senior Banquet - Friday, February 16th from 6:30-8:30 (Sign ups will begin Tuesday, January 16; No Cost)
Seniors are invited to get dressed up and come out for food trucks, karaoke, games, and more. Must have paid $5 senior dues to sign up.
Senior Portraits - May 6 (Seniors must sign up for an appointment at https://www.pickatime.com/candidcolor/deepcreekcg)
Movie Night - May 10th ($15.00)

Senior DoubleGood Online Popcorn Fundraiser - May 13-17
Prom - Friday, May 31st from 7-11pm at The Signet Center in Chesapeake
Tickets will go on sale May 6th in the library. Permission slip is required. Tickets will be $70 May 6-17 and increase to $75 May 18-28. No sales after May 28. Must have paid $5 senior dues in order to purchase a ticket.
Senior Awards (by invitation) - June 5 at 6:30 p.m.

Senior Obligations
All Senior Obligations are to be paid in order to attend events, such as Prom, and to receive a diploma.
