Healthy employees are essential for educational success!

CPS Heartbeats is an employee wellness program with several initiatives designed to support and improve the physical and emotional well-being of all employees.

Wellness Credits

The Chesapeake Public Schools Incentive Program offers employees opportunities to earn wellness credits to reduce  the premiums on each paycheck. Employees who receive health benefits are encouraged to complete the requirements to earn wellness credits each year. Wellness credits must be earned before the October 31st deadline annually.

Please Note: You must be covered by a CPS Health Insurance Plan before October 31, 2025, to be eligible for the CPS Incentive Program and receive the reduced health insurance premium in 2026.

Employees who completed the two requirements to earn wellness credits for 2025 will see the reduced premium on their January 15, 2025 paycheck.

 

Wellness Credit Requirements

Employees can take action now to earn their wellness credits for the 2026 plan year!
Complete the following two actions between November 1, 2024, and October 31, 2025, to earn Wellness Credits and reduce your 2026 Health Insurance Premiums.
