Welcome to Chittum Elementary! I am excited to be your principal for the upcoming school year. I believe in the power of teaching and learning in both the home and school settings. This journey of learning is a true partnership. It is our responsibility to empower our students to become lifelong learners; collaborate with others; use problem-solving skills, and be critical thinkers. Hello, my name is Chanel Davis-Mitchell and I am honored to be your Assistant Principal. I have been a part of the Chittum family for 15 years and I can honestly say I consider this to be my home. It takes a community to ensure our children are successful learners, while also nurturing the development of the whole child. Here at Chittum we are that community that will ensure your children are thriving both educationally and emotionally.
