Meet our Powerful PTA

PTA benefits everyone; strong schools mean stronger communities. PTA membership is open to anyone concerned with the education, health, and welfare of children. More than eighty-five rigorous research studies conducted over thirty years show that kids do better when parents are involved. Grades are higher. Test scores improve. Attendance increases.

Please join G. W. Carver Intermediate School PTA and help support our Reflections Program, school dances, Hospitality, Parent Visitation, and Field Day.

During the school year, we promote family engagement solutions that are proven to help prevent the risks associated with high school dropout. We had several events going on during the year; including a Book Fair, a Someone Special Lunch, a visit from the local museums, Family-Fun-and-Fitness night, and school dances.

Along with getting the families involved and helping our school become even better for the students, our PTA has also hosted several school dances during the school year. We have seen and learned some interesting dance moves from the students and faculty, all while having a great time together.

The PTA is always collecting Box Tops and Farm Fresh 1, 2, 3, 4 Program. You can help earn cash for Carver by clipping Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating products.

Another way you can help our school earn free educational equipment by shopping at Farm Fresh and scanning your key tag. Scan your key tag before the completion of your purchase!

Your child can bring the box tops to your classroom teacher or deliver it to Mrs. White in the library. Thanks for all of your help and support.
