IRMS PTSA Cares Pantry

the more we all share the more we all have insight

Vision
We envision a school community in which everyone has access to sufficient food, clothing, and essential supplies.

Mission
The mission of the IRMS PTSA Cares Pantry is to support the emotional, mental, and physical well-being of our Indian River Middle School families, staff, students, and teachers by serving as a direct aid providing food, clothing, and essential supplies.

Pantry Summary
The IRMS PTSA Cares Pantry started as a vision and was brought to life by Sheena Bellamy (2019-2020 IRMS PTSA President), Angela Phillips (IRMS PTSA Cares Pantry Coordinator), the 2019-2020 IRMS PTSA Board Members, and the IRMS PTSA Cares Pantry Committee. The pantry kindly accepts clothing (including undergarments); shoes; hygiene products; non-perishable food items; and school supplies. All items must be NEW in their original packaging.

While the donation drop-off hours are 8:30AM-10:00AM and 3:30PM-4:30PM (M-F), the pantry is not open to the public. Therefore, donation drop-offs must be scheduled in advance with a pantry committee member so that they can meet you in the school’s Main Office to collect your donation. When dropping off your donation with the pantry committee member, please provide them with a note that contains your name, phone number, address, description of donation, and the estimated value of your donation.

In regards to receiving items from the pantry, please know that this will be handled discreetly in an effort to have pantry donation recipients remain confidential. If you would like to schedule a donation drop-off or are in need of items from our pantry, please send an email to . Someone from our team will follow up with you as soon as possible. We hope that the pantry will continue to grow and serve as a lifelong gift to Indian River Middle School. Thanks for your generosity and support!
