At the current time, all substitute In-service training for the 2020-2021 school year will be delivered virtually. School Board Policy requires that ALL substitute teachers and homebound teachers attend one In-service training session each school year. If you are already a substitute teacher for Chesapeake Public Schools, an email will be sent with links to each of the required training modules and documents for the 20-21 school year. Please note that all training must be completed and the appropriate google form submitted to Human Resources by December 31, 2020, to remain as an active substitute for the remainder of the 20-21 school year. As in the past, all returning substitutes and homebound teachers will be compensated for two (2) hours of pay once verification of training has been received.
