Kristy Kline is the Library Media Specialist at GRP. She is a believes in fostering the love of reading at a young age so that students will become life long readers. Mrs. Kline received her teaching license and Bachelor’s degree from Longwood University. She also received her Master’s degree from Old Dominion University in Library Science. Mrs. Kline has been an educator for twelve years. Her favorite part about being a school librarian is seeing her students’ reactions to a story she’s reading to them. She loves helping students find books that are “the one” that turns them on to becoming life long lover of books. Mrs. Kline is a Greenbrier Primary alumni and is proud to come full circle to give back to the Greenbrier community.

While Greenbrier Primary does not offer the Chesapeake Preschool Initiative- we offer The Reverse Mainstream Program to a unique population of young students. The Reverse Mainstream Program brings non-disabled children into preschool classes serving children with developmental delays. It allows a variety of children to learn and play together, builds self-esteem, develops acceptance of others, provides age-appropriate peer models, and includes age-appropriate activities. Space is limited and tuition will be a flat fee based upon the days of attendance.
