Grassfield High School will administer the PSAT on October 10 during Blocks 1 & 2. The cost of the PSAT is $16.00 (cash or checks payable GFHS). Chesapeake Public Schools received a grant to enable all 10th grade students to be preregistered and prepaid to take the PSAT. Registration for 9th and 11th grade students will be conducted September 26 through October 3 on:
Mondays, Wednesday, and Fridays – 8:15 a.m.-8:35 a.m. in front of the Forum
Tuesdays and Thursdays – during all lunches in the Food Court
Eligible freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are encouraged to take the PSAT to receive feedback on collegiate preparation skills, to gain access to College Board study materials, to enter scholarship searches, and to become familiar with the types of questions they will see on the SAT. School counselors also use this data to gauge readiness for AP courses. Students must provide their own calculators and #2 pencils for testing. Students will not be admitted into the PSAT testing rooms after 8:45 a.m.
