William Shakespeare’s The Tempest

The Tempest is set on a remote island, where the sorcerer Prospera, rightful Duchess of Milan, plans to restore her daughter Miranda to her home in Milan using illusion and skillful control. She conjures up a storm to cause her usurping sister Antonia and the Queen Alonso of Naples to believe they are shipwrecked and stranded on the island. Using her power of magic with the help of Ariel, a spirit, she brings to light Antonia’s lowly nature, the marriage of Miranda to Alonso’s son, Ferdinand, and her own redemption. We also meet some other characters along the way that help bring a smile to anyone watching.

The show runs November 15, 16, 17 at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $5.00.

The show is appropriate for all age levels.
