Spring Sports Tryout Information
Field Hockey Team Selections 

The following athletes have been chosen for the 2023 Wildcat Field Hockey Team:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 22
The following athletes have been chosen for 2023 player/managers. These athletes will be a part of the team, practicing and traveling with the team to all events.  They will have the opportunity to earn a uniform, as the season progresses.
16, 18, 24, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 39, 40
Practices will resume Monday – Friday right after school until 6pm.
***There will be a parent meeting on Monday, 3/6, at 6pm, on the GBM field hockey field.

Volleyball Team Selections
The following players have been selected for the 2023 GBMS volleyball team. If your number is selected, please meet in the main gym tomorrow (Friday) after school for our first practice until 5:30pm.

Girls Track & Field Team Selections 

Congratulations on making the 2023 Great Bridge Middle girls track team. Your hard work and effort this past week has reflected on the selection to have you on the team. This upcoming track season will be challenging yet rewarding and I am looking forward to seeing what is in store for us! Practice will begin tomorrow following school and will end
at 5:30. More information, details, and expectations are to come. WE ARE BRIDGE SET.

Boys Track & Field Team Selections

Congratulations to the following individuals for being selected to represent your school as a member of the GBMS boys track team. We will look to build towards defending our 2022 City Championship tomorrow at practice. Please have a ride ready to pick you up at the rear of the school at 5:00 tomorrow afternoon. If you were not selected as a member of the team, please feel free to email Coach Nieter or stop by his office to discuss things you can work on to improve in the future.

The Chesapeake Middle School League (CMSL) is committed to providing a safe environment for our student-athletes, coaches, officials, and spectators. All CMSL schools may begin tryouts on Tuesday, September 7, 2021. We intend to have a complete fall athletic season and crown a city champion in football and softball. While our schools will do everything they can to complete the fall athletic season, there may come a time when fall championships will be unable to be completed due to Covid-19 circumstances. Every effort will be made to finish each school’s regular season and championships. As we have all learned over the past few months living in a pandemic environment, circumstances beyond our control may impact athletic contests.
