Important Synergy Update

ParentVUE/StudentVUE App Users:

You will need to update the district URL in order to use the ParentVue/StudentVue App. Please see the directions below.

1.   Open the ParentVUE / StudentVUE mobile app on your phone or tablet
2.   Click the gear in the bottom left corner to access Settings
3.   Click “Add another district URL”
4.   Look for “Chesapeake Public Schools” and the new entry should have the path https://va-cps-PSV.edupoint.com
5.   Click YES after selecting the new entry to link to the new servers.
6.   Login to access your information.

ParentVUE/StudentVUE Web (Browser) Users:

The web address (URL) to access ParentVUE and StudentVUE on a computer has changed. Please update any bookmarks, favorites, or links you may have set on your personal computer, smart phone, or tablet to access the new log-in screen. The new web address is https://va-cps-psv.edupoint.com .

SENIORS – Have you submitted your FAFSA Application?

Seniors:  If you haven’t filed a FAFSA, now is the time!

She will set up a phone appointment to submit the FAFSA for you so that you don’t miss out on financial aid next year.

Parents & Guardians – Please VERIFY your student’s data in ParentVUE

Bye-bye blue card. Say Hello to Student Online Verification with ParentVUEBye-bye blue cards!  The new Student Online Verification process has replaced blue cards.  Now, parents can log into their ParentVue accounts and update emergency and other important information for each child.

The window has been extended! Parents – please help us reach our goal of getting EACH STUDENT’S information verified through ParentVUE!

(1) Visit www.cpschools.com and click the ParentVue link.  (2)  Login or activate your account.  (3)  Select the Online Registration/Verification button on the top right hand of the screen.  (4)  Follow the prompts to verify student information. Sign up to get Text Messages from GBHS

School Messenger text YES to 67587Chesapeake Public Schools provides a service for parents that enhances communication by delivering important information, such as delayed school openings or emergency closings due to weather, via SMS text messaging. This service is intended to enhance our existing means of communication and will not replace any exiting form of communication.

To participate in the new service you must register your mobile phone number. Registration is simple and only takes a few seconds to complete.

GREAT BRIDGE ATHLETICS - IPTAY STICKER IMAGEThe athletic program at Great Bridge High School has been recognized as one of the best in the Commonwealth for decades. In an effort to maintain high standards and support our athletic program, the IPTAY program was established to provide financial resources to Wildcat athletic programs.

Please read the IPTAY letter from our principal, Mr. Jeff Johnson, which outlines how you can become a supporter today!

Also – back by popular demand – all IPTAY supporters will receive a 4 inch vinyl sticker (see image at right) along with a note of our appreciation. Display this decal on your tumbler, automobile, or anywhere to show your Wildcat Pride!

 

 

 


Online Payment Option Available!

Online School PaymentsParents now have access to Chesapeake Public Schools Online School Payments portal. This service is provided to parents to facilitate payment for a variety of school fees, products, and services.
