SCA Applications for 2020-2021 School Year

In light of the the school closure, we wanted to ensure that everyone who was interested in applying for SCA for the 2020-2021 school year had an opportunity to do so. We are extending the original application packet deadline from March 24th to next Friday, April 3rd. Please remember in order to apply for SCA you must have a 3.0GPA or higher as well as held either high school class office or SCA office, a seat on the Student Advisory Council, or acted as a Wildcat ambassador. Please email your completed packets to by Friday, April 3rd. The application can be accessed here.

SENIORS – Have you submitted your FAFSA Application?

Seniors:  If you haven’t filed a FAFSA, now is the time!  Mrs. Moorhouse can file the FAFSA for you while school is closed.

She will set up a phone appointment to submit the FAFSA for you so that you don’t miss out on financial aid next year.

Parents & Guardians – Please VERIFY your student’s data in ParentVUE

Bye-bye blue card. Say Hello to Student Online Verification with ParentVUEBye-bye blue cards!  The new Student Online Verification process has replaced blue cards.  Now, parents can log into their ParentVue accounts and update emergency and other important information for each child.

The window has been extended! Parents – please help us reach our goal of getting EACH STUDENT’S information verified through ParentVUE!

(1) Visit www.cpschools.com and click the ParentVue link.  (2)  Login or activate your account.  (3)  Select the Online Registration/Verification button on the top right hand of the screen.  (4)  Follow the prompts to verify student information. Great Bridge High School has been awarded Purple Star status!

Microsoft Office 365

Chesapeake Public Schools is happy to announce the availability of Office 365 Pro Plus at no charge to all Chesapeake Public School (CPS) students for use on personal computer equipment. 
The licensing allows the installation of the software on up to five compatible PC and/or MAC computers. In addition, a simplified version of the software may be installed on up to five tablet/mobile devices. The license will remain active as long as the division maintains this agreement and as long as you are a CPS student. Once the student withdraws from the division, they are no longer legally licensed to use the software.
