WHO CAN ATTEND?
This public forum is open to the public.
WHAT IS THE SCHOOL SAFETY TASKFORCE?
The School Safety Taskforce was formed in 2018 to address school safety issues, evaluate school safety protocols and practices, and determine additional measures that should be implemented throughout the school division to ensure the safety of students and staff. The taskforce meets regularly to review, enhance, and monitor our safety procedures. Recommendations made by the taskforce will guide current emergency practices and any future safety initiatives that will be implemented in our division.
WHO SERVES ON THE SCHOOL SAFETY TASKFORCE?
The Taskforce includes city leaders and council members, fire and emergency management, city police, state police, and school district leaders.
FORUM AGENDA
Representatives of the School Safety Taskforce (SSTF) will provide a brief update on school safety policies and procedures in our schools. The brief presentation will be followed by a Q&A (question & answer) session for those in attendance.
