| Art Club | The art club provides students with a way to practice their artistic talents outside of the classroom environment. |
| Battle of the Books | Teams of students use teamwork skills to compete and answer various questions about books. |
| Chorus Club | The chorus club provides students with extended time learning about music. |
| Girls on the Run | Girls on the Run is a program for girls ages that teaches life skills through lessons and running. |
| Operation Hero | Operation Hero is a program for Active Duty military children in 1st through 5th grade. This program is designed to help students deal with issues that can come from being a military family, such as frequent moves and separation due to deployment. |
| Reading Night | January is reading month and one night is set aside in January to bring students and families to DCE to celebrate reading. |
| Robotics Club | The robotics club is a girls club in which students build robots, learn coding, and compete in competitions. |
| Running Club | The morning running club takes place in the spring of the year and is open to girls and boys in 4th and 5th grades. |
| Safety Patrols | Fifth grade students are chosen to monitor certain locations on the hallways to ensure that all students are traveling safety. |
| SCA | The student council provides students with the chance to be a voice for the school. Officers are elected and students assist in planning spirit weeks as well as planning other school events. |
| S.T.E.A.M. | STEAM night occurs in March during the school year and is an opportunity for students and families to come to the school and celebrate all things Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math. |
