January is Reading Month

There are lots of fun activities happening at Deep Creek Elementary for reading month!   The theme is “Literacy Builds a Better World.”  Some of the highlights include:

Friday, January 3 Mismatch Day!  Mismatch your clothes, shoes, or socks!
Friday, January 10 Hats off to Reading!  Wear a silly hat!
Tuesday, January 14 Literacy Night 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Friday, January 17 Wacky Socks Day!
Thursday, January 23 Steve Somers “Amazing Teacher” and Guest Reader Day!
Friday, January 31 Storybook Character Dress-up Day!
