Welcome To Crestwood Middle

SOL Testing Update

Falcon Families,
All students in Chesapeake will take the SOL tests beginning in just a few weeks and extending into the first two weeks of June. SOL tests cannot be administered virtually. Option 2 students will report to Crestwood Middle School for their testing, based on the schedule for their team. If your student(s) is on an Online/Option 2 team, please fill out the appropriate grade level form.
Option 2 teams dates/ transportation preference forms by grade level:
6 grade Online Cougar Team:
7th grade Online Hurricane Team:

8th grade Online Navigator Team:
Answers to frequently asked questions:

• On the designated testing days, the division will provide transportation at the start and close of the school day. Students riding the bus will attend the entire school day. You may choose to bring their children to school and/or transport them home. Please fill in the form here to let us know how your student will travel to and from school.
• Students must take the SOL test on a Chesapeake Public Schools device. If your student has a CPS Chromebook, they need to bring both the computer and the cord. We would also ask students to leave their cell phones at home.
• Option 1 students will report to Crestwood Middle School for their testing, based on the days of the week which they are already assigned to attend, for example, if your student attends on Tuesday/Thursday, he or she will take the SOL on those days. If your student attends on Wednesday/Friday, he or she will take the SOL on those days.

Crestwood Middle School takes your child’s safety very seriously. We are carefully planning to create the safest environment possible. If you have any concerns or questions, please call a CWM administrator at 757-494-7560.
