Chesapeake Public Schools will partner with Rite Aid and the Chesapeake Health Department to host after-school COVID-19 vaccination clinics the week of May 24, 2021, at our high schools. First doses of the Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine will be available for students 12 and older, parents, and employees. Students between ages 12 – 17 must have a parent or guardian present.
Participation in these clinics is voluntary. All participants must adhere to COVID-19 mitigation protocols including wearing a mask, maintaining six feet physical distance, and completing temperature screening upon arrival.
All participants must bring the following information with them:
(2) A photocopy of the front and back of the following documents:
- Medical Insurance card*
- Prescription Card
- Government issued photo id
*If you do not have insurance, you will need to provide your social security number at the time of service. There is no charge to the patient or the district for the COVID-19 vaccine but we are required to gather this information per the Department of Health. No one will be denied the vaccine if not insured.

The Pfizer COVID-19 vaccinations requires a second shot 3 weeks (or 21 days) after your first. Individuals who receive their first shot next week at our clinics will be offered their second shot within the required vaccination window. We will share more details on second dose clinics as soon as possible.
