Citizens’ Advisory Committee Applications

Chesapeake Public Schools is committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion by advancing systems and practices that advance opportunities for all students. The Equity Council is currently seeking to appoint 10 external stakeholders, including parents/guardians, and business and community partners, to advise our strategic planning efforts. Equity Council members will engage in discussions that focus on developing innovative solutions for identified equity gaps and celebrating diversity in our learning community.

Meetings will be held monthly from 6:30-8:30 PM
(January 4, February 1, March 1, April 5 for the 2021-22 school year)


Applications are available on our website. Directions for submitting the application are outlined in the application.
