On the evening of June 2, 2022 students, instructors, employers, families and special guests gathered together at TCC to celebrate over 80 high school seniors as they signed on with the careers they will begin after they graduate this month. This event was also featured on WTKR’s evening edition of Positively Hampton Roads. We are so proud of our students for choosing to start their careers and make an impact in our community.
We also recognized seven students, one from each high school, with the J. A. Cotton Career Scholar Award. These students each received $1,000 to help them jump-start their professional futures. Thank you to the Chesapeake Public Schools Educational Foundation and the City of Chesapeake Virginia Economic Development for sponsoring these awards!
