This year the WDHRCCC wants to award two $1,000 scholarships to deserving students that have completed a program of study through The Chesapeake Career Center and/or a dual enrollment program with Tidewater Community College. Requirements: Send a copy of your High School Transcript and your Letter of Recommendation to WDHRCCC via email to Angie Napier. If you have any questions, feel free to email those to the same address. Now that you are about to complete the program through CCC and/or TCC, you will need funding to start your career. These funds will be awarded based on your performance in the program, your plans for the future
(described in your essay) and a recommendation letter from your current teacher.
The scholarship application is a Google Form to be completed by May 23, 2022. On June 3rd we will notify the students that have been selected.
● Student must be a female senior that has completed a program of study at CCC
● Copy of High School Transcript
● Letter of Recommendation from CCC Teacher
● Completed Google Form to Include Essay
● Essay- includes description of how you will utilize the scholarship funds
● Attend a WDHRCCC meeting to be awarded the scholarship (6/22/22 or 8/24/22)COVID Contact Form
