Dr. Cotton presented the instructional plan for the 2021-22 school year at the April 19, 2021 School Board Meeting. While the primary mode of instruction for ALL grade levels will be full-time in-person learning, Chesapeake will continue to offer virtual learning opportunities by application only. Families at the elementary and middle school levels who would like to apply for virtual learning will be required to make a full-year commitment to Virtual Virginia. Applications are now available on our website.
Completed applications should be submitted via email to Michelle Ferebee at or returned to the school in person. Hard copies of the application are available by request in our main office.
May’s Virtual Makerspace is ready for you to enjoy. Have fun creating and please upload your creation videos to Flipgrid so the entire school can enjoy your project! Click here to select your new spring challenges.

In an effort to expedite our dismissal procedures, we will establish a list of students who will be permanently placed on the Parent Pickup list for afternoon dismissal. If a student is going to be picked up daily from school, parent(s)/ guardian(s) will complete the Parent Pickup Form, and the student will be placed on a list. Students listed will be
assigned a number and will receive two number cards to be placed in the parent(s)/guardian(s) vehicle or the vehicle of the person that is authorized to pick up the student. The student will be listed as a daily pick up student unless a parent/guardian sends in a note advising the school of other afternoon transportation arrangements.
OneLogin is here! The OneLogin solution provides a single login for students across CPS systems and G-Suite. Students will start seeing a new login screen with the CPS logo.
