G W Carver is excited to welcome everyone back in the building on Thursday, January 2. We hope everyone had a wonderful and restful winter break.
Reading month will be filled with all sorts of events and exciting challenges for the entire family. There will be reading bingo, a reading night, and a vocabulary parade to rap up the month (just to name a few things!). Stay tuned for more details about all of the exciting events this month will have in store.
Monday (6th): Wear all of the Colors of the Rainbow Shine bright like a rainbow.
Tuesday (7th): Read My Shirt Day Wear a shirt with words
Wednesday (8th): Animal Print Day Our halls will be crawling with animals. Meow!
Thursday (9th): Fancy Hair Day Wear your hair in a manner that is not typical for you!
Friday (10th): House Mascot Day Dress like your house mascot.
G. W. Carver is proud to announce that Michele Tucholski was selected as our 2019-2020 Teacher and Reading Teacher of the Year. Mrs. T is a wonderful fourth grade teacher in our building that loves her students and this school. Way to go, Mrs. T! Thank you for everything that you do.
