Our school counselors are available for non-emergency emotional support during the school closure.
The vision of Butt’s Road Intermediate’s school counseling department is founded on the fundamental principle that every student is a unique and prized member of the Hawk Community. We envision our students as life-long learners who are productive, compassionate members of society.
The mission for school counselors at Butt’s Road Intermediate is to provide, and advocate for, equitable access to data-driven programs representative of our student’s needs. By assessing student data, delivering intentional direct and indirect student services, maintaining professional standards, as well as continuously managing the focus of our programs, we work to ensure the highest quality of growth is possible for our students in academic, social-emotional and career domains. In collaboration with our administration and educators, we are committed to our on-going education and professional development so that we can do our part to offer equitable support for student achievement and success in our school and in our communities.
