Benchmark Testing

Benchmark tests are given to students once a year to determine what knowledge has been acquired and what the students are able to do as a result.  Benchmark tests serve as monitoring tools as teachers are able to gauge student progress in real-time.  Teachers collect this type of information to make informed, data-driven instructional decisions.  Ultimately, benchmark data helps teachers identify student needs for both acceleration and remediation.
