“Since joining the Chesapeake Public Schools Family one year ago, I have had the great honor and privilege to work with CPS leadership to help facilitate incredible opportunities for learners across the City of Chesapeake.  Working together with Dr. Cotton, division-wide leadership, and with the support of the Chesapeake School Board we have successfully fulfilled numerous, large-scale, technology-focused improvements this year and supported our staff and students as they navigated the very challenging obstacles laid before them as a result of the pandemic.   As a division, our work is far from finished and as we prepare for next year and what we all hope will be a much more predictable school year, we are also preparing for new and innovative opportunities to help extend and enhance the reach of our teachers and administrators.  I am committed to promoting collaboration across CPS departments as we work to identify opportunities where cutting-edge solutions will provide our students with unparalleled access to resources and enable them to collaborate, communicate, create, and think critically in the promotion of highly desired 21st-century skills as they pursue learning anytime and anywhere.”
